Question by I Am Jack’s Cold Sweat: A good domain investment… 10pts!?
Hey guys, I am still very new to buying and selling domain names, everything is just flying over my head on this… However, I am very determined to figure it out!

I was searching on godaddy.com today, and I found that there is a website called visualkey.com for sale, and I am thinking about buying it; it is only $ 15, and I think it would be a good start to domaining. Please, someone with experience educate me on how this would all work out!

Personally, I don’t think domain trading is a good business, unless you have a really great domain name that you picked up very cheap.

Visualkey sounds like a decent name, but only if you have a product that fits that name.

I need some genuine insight and details on how you got STARTED to making that first $ 1 or $ 100 on the Internet. What are some real genuine and HONEST ways of making money on the Internet?

Please, don’t be vague like create blogs or websites with unique interesting content and earn money through affiliate marketing or contextual advertising (Adsense, Adbrite, YPN, etc). I really want details on how YOU got STARTED to become successful making money on the Internet.

Please do not recommend me filling out surveys or PTC (Paid-to-Click) sites. You can hardly make any decent money out of FREE surveys which takes a good amount of time just to make a lousy dollar. Believe me. I have tried with several “top notch” sites like CashCrate and others. I do not want to go this route.

I want to make a decent living off of the Internet working full time even putting in 10 additional hours every week.

Where can I do keyword research and search volume research to come up with niche ideas for websites? Overture Keyword Tool no longer exists. I need a good free keyword tool besides Google’s Adwords keyword tool. I heard Google’s keyword tool really doesn’t give accurate results. What did you do to come up with your niche ideas?

I assume most Internet entrepreneurs make money through multiple streams of Internet incomes through affiliate marketing, contextual advertising, multiple websites (sometimes in mass quantity) domaining (buying & selling domain names), Forex investing. List other ideas as well.

A year ago I was really desperate as I gave up my job to look after a family member who had stroke.

The bills piled up. I had no choice I turned to the internet. I had $ 1000 and I spent on a program that I thought could help me but no, it was a total waste of money. So I had to start with almost nothing. But I managed to do affiliate marketing and I have enough to survive at the moment. All without any risk of losing any money as I can’t afford that.

Find an affiliate that provides you everything you need to start without having to pay. Maybe you just invest in a cheap domain as low as $ 2 and some hosting. They give you all the websites to sell their products.

Domain name is now a days a very interesting topic! For info on what they are, how they are registered, then sold or made use of can be obtained from the tutorials that they provide on registration sites.

Also a large number of forums also are active on these topics. webhostingtalk, webhostinginfo etc.

A good regular income on daily basis which would directly be proportional to the amount of money you will invest is easily possible. But for that a least investment of 5000$ is required. But that would be able to give you return of 200$ a day.

There are a few good sites which to its member only provides 100% sureshot stocks which will rise definitely. So from your side you need not to take headache of picking of right stock.

But still many are apprehensive of such kind of investment.

I personally feel if you really want to make good profit you have to take risk but that should be a calculated one.

They’re all pretty good domains, I’m personally not sure how much you could get for them although I think make1000 might be the most valuable in the list.

I would personally get a domain appraisal from midflux (http://midflux.com) if you’re serious about finding out the value of your domain.

Hi! Check if your church has a website already, if they do check with the “webmaster”/administrator about having your small group site in a sub directory there (such as www.chruchnamehere.org/small groupname). That way you do not have to buy a domain, by the way they are not free.

If not you may need to gain permission from someone in the church to buy a site containing ANYTHING related to your church name, this may violate their policies if you don’t.

If you do end up needing to buy a domain many offer free hosting of your site with the purchase of a domain. I have links to a couple i have referred to below.

I own wtaladies.com. Currently I don’t have time to run it and a for profit private domaining company offered to buy it for $ 120. Should I sell it? The alexa ranking is 1 million. 8k+ backlinks in yahoo and some in google. 40+uniques per day when content is old and 5 returning visitors. 150+ visitors when content is new. average pages read by visitors is 3. Many pages on the website. These statistics are verified on sedo tracker although my own tracker seems to show more traffic.

I don’t get the name but the stats are good. I’d estimate the value to be around $ 2,500.
